Purchasing Manager / Category Manager - Under tillsättning eller tillsatt, ej sökbar

We are looking for an experienced purchaser whom has been working in a production organization, preferably in the automotive industry for a couple of years, to our location in Jönköping.

You will manage and coordinate all issues related to Strategic Purchasing in Brenderup Site, Jönköping. In this role, you will have the overall responsibility for setting and implementing the strategy for assigned material categories in line with the overall company strategy within purchasing. Optimize supplier base and supplier performance on cost, quality and delivery performance within own material categories.

Key areas of responsibilities:

• Purchase process owner for Stigamo site
• Local contracts & agreements for direct & indirect material and services.
• Local implementation of the global category strategies run by another CM
• Manage the relation with all stakeholder in Jönköping and secure highest level of procurement service at this site Follow and report relevant KPI’s and material price developments.
• Develop a category strategy (e.g. global or local supply base, type of supplier relationship, etc.) that optimizes Total Cost of Ownership.
• Proactively search for cost reduction opportunity by understanding customer’s needs, supply market trends & innovations considering Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Consolidate spend across the group and conduct the entire strategic souring process from developing sourcing strategy, analyzing spend and suppliers, to fact based negotiation and signed agreement.
• Conduct category-specific value chain analysis to identify category risks and opportunities.
• Make or buy analyses & decision.

Your competences and skills: 

• Economic or technical degree is preferable.
• Good skills and experience of MRP system and Office.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, inventory control.
• Good communication and negotiating skills, analytical thinking, consequent, strong character, extensive purchasing knowledge.
• Fluent Swedish and English. Experience of the German language is preferable.

The team consist of five colleagues, four is located in Wielen, Poland, and one in Jönköping. You will report to Group Purchasing Manager in Wielen, Poland. You will be based in Stigamo, south of Jönköping where you are close to your stakeholders. The position includes traveling.
